Our Purpose

The Purpose of Showers of Blessings Faith City Worship Center is to evangelize our world and provide an atmosphere of spiritual healing, growth, and inspiration. To meet the needs of the body of Christ through the teaching of sound doctrine, the practice of biblical principles, and the development of need oriented ministries.

Our Philosophy 

​

We believe that God as called us at this time, in what we believe are the last days, to mirror and reflect His image in a more practical and authentic manner. We purpose to model Christ in our churches, in our homes, on our jobs, and in the day-to-day routines and activities of life. Therefore, to accomplish this goal, God has called us to focus on four things: To proclaim, produce, portray, and protect.

1.  To Proclaim: II Timothy 4:2; John 4:23-24 - Preaching sound doctrine in an atmosphere of genuine worship.

2.  To Produce: Matthew 4:19-20; II Timothy 2:2 - An aggressive approach to way of life evangelism as well as organized educational teaching, thereby creating, fishers for men.

3.  To Portray: II Corinthians 3:9; Phillipians 4:9; Ephesians 5:1; I Corinthians 11:1 - Living life as authentic Christians in a reality based world.

4.  To Protect: Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:12; Luke 10:1-3 - Reaching out through evangelism, church planting, missions, and doing the full counsel of God.
